Paul 40 year anniversary

Tonight we celebrated Paul's 40 year anniversary with a party. Thank you everybody who came and made this night very memorable for us, and thank you for all the gifts. We hope you had as fun as we had!

Installation of Professors

Paul was installed as Professor today. In the morning, he have a short popular scientific presentation at Mälardalen university. In the afternoon there was an installation ceremony in Västerås dome, and in the evening banquett with dinner that our parents also attended. A very nice day!

Anders' Defense (and Party)

Today, Anders Hessel defended his Ph.D. thesis at Uppsala University. In the evening there was a very nice dessertation party at Gotlands Nation (see the pictures).

JavaOne in San Francisco

Elena just returned from a one week trip to the US of A. She went to Chicago to visit Tanja, and then further on to San Francisco to attend the JavaOne conference.

Invited to Labero

Tonight we visited Hamburger börs to see Joe Laberos show "Invited to Labero". It was a spectacular show and the food was good as always.
