Lars Winnerbäck Concert

Tonight we visited a live concert with Lars Winnerbäck at Berns Salonger in Stockholm. It was a good concert (as usual) but quite short (only 1h45m).

Cruise with Krehlas

This weekend we have been with Krehlas on a cruise with Vikingline to Åland. We had a very nice time together. Did not see Mariehamn, but we did experience dinner in the buffet restaurant, singing to a troubadour in the pub, dancing to live dansband music, and dancing in the disco.

Bandy Final

Today we went to see the Swedish bandy final between Edsbyn and Hammarby. The bandy final is played in Uppsala at Studenternas idrottsplats, annually since 1907. Traditionally, a proper visit to the bandy final starts with brunch at one of Uppsala's pubs. They are always crowded with supporters and others on their way to the final. We went to Flustret, and then to Studenternas. The game was not extremely entertaining. Edsbyn won with 6-2 to Hammarby.

Saint Petersburg

This weekend Elena spent in her lovely hometown. The main reason of going there was her fathers 65-th birhday. С днем, рождения папочка! As usual, the schedule there was very intensive: performance of Galkin in Октябрьский on Friday, big celebration of Gesha with friends and relatives at a restaurant on Saturday, musical "Show for Elisa" by Bernard Show in Music Hall on Sunday, and lots of fabulous shopping and coffee-drinking.

Beauty and the Beast

Yesterday we saw Disney's Skönheten och odjuret (eng. Beauty and the Beast) at theater Göta Lejon in Stockholm. It was a very nice musical. In particular, Charlotte Perelli and Ola Forssmed performed extremely well. After the show, we went to restaurant KGB (Комитет Государственной Безопасности) for a couple of beers.

Leo's Birthday

Last weekend we celebrated Leo's birthday on a VikingLine cruise to Helsinki. It was a two-day party with Viking Buffé, Bar-B-Q house, playing cards and drinking whiskey at Fun Club, Olympic Games Hockey final where Sweden won against Finland, sauna and jacuzzi, a nice café in Helsinki downtown, cigars at the "Irish" pub on the boat, and litrs of wine and beer in Leo's cabin. Did I miss something? :-)
