Woman in Fyrisån

Today, on my way to work, I witnessed how a woman was saved from the river Fyrisån. Just before I can to the place, she had fell in to the water. I heard her screaming for help. Two young men heroically, jumped into the cold water and saved her. Later two ambulances came to the place.

Zhanna & Erik

Zhanna and Erik visited us May 15-21. On Monday May 16 a vernisage of Erik's paintings was organized at Ericsson to open his one month long excibition. The rest of the week they spend in museums in Stockholm (during day time) and drinking wine with us (during the evenings). On Saturday we celebrated Paul's 39th birthday together with McRussians and Paul's parents.

Onegin

Yesterday, we saw Onegin at Kungliga Operan in Stockholm together with our friends Anna and Anders. It was a good show. The singers/actors were Swedish and singing in Russian. This was probably more a problem for Anna and Elena, than for Anders and me ;-).

After the performance we went to the pub Salt and then back to Anna and Anders' flat, where we had an extremely nice and long party!

The Jag is out

The Jag is back out in the sun, and Elena is so very happy :-)

Valborg in Uppsala

Celebrated Valborg in Uppsala. We first had a very nice "sillunch" (with raw herring) at Torhald and Maggie's house in Gamla Uppsala. Thanks! In the evening, we had a BBQ-party at our place. Thank you all for coming and for everything you brought!
