Valborg in Uppsala

We showed Irisha and Gesha how to celebrate last of April in Uppsala. Started with porridge breakfast and some Champagne at 8 am. Went to see Forsränningen at 10 am. Back to apartment to have "sillunch" (lunch with raw herring). Then to Carolina to see the "mösspåtagning" at 3pm and run to dance to live music outside of Norrlands nation. In the evening we invited Leo for dinner.

Paul Fersman

As from yesterday Paul is named Paul Fersman Pettersson :-) He feels extremely proud.

Copenhagen

We spent Saturday April 16 in Copenhagen. The train from Lund is less than one hour. In Copenhagen we walked on Ströget down to Nyhavn, took a guided boat trip in the harbor, jumped off and walked in the city again. Around 19 we went to Tivoli that turned out to be really nice. We had beer and more beer at a nice pub, played some games (even won a prize :), then had a drink at a karaoke bar, and left the tivoli around 23:00. Sunday April 17 we spent in Malmö.

Elena's Bike

Elena sold her bike at Blocket today. It was sold immediately, then she received 30 more phone calls before she removed the ad. Perhaps the price was too low? :-)

Elena's New Job

Yes, she got a new job! Will start at Ericsson Research in Kista (north of Stockholm, 55 km south of Uppsala) perhaps already in April 2005.
